Abstract

Heavy metal contamination in aquatic environments poses persistent ecological threats. This paper details the hydrothermal synthesis of reduced graphene oxide functionalized with magnetic nanoparticles for lead and cadmium removal. Adsorption isotherms conform to the Langmuir model, exhibiting maximum adsorption capacities exceeding 240 mg/g with rapid magnetic recoverability.
