Artificial intelligence algorithms are increasingly tasked with ranking welfare eligibility and verifying social safety net claimants. This paper conducts an algorithmic audit on 250,000 welfare eligibility records, identifying structural demographic biases and establishing statutory due-process standards for algorithmic administrative decisions.
